PRESIDEN IRAN

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Senegalese counterpart and President of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Abdoulaye Wade, also in the meeting discussed latest regional and international developments, including Gaza events.

President Ahmadinejad told Wade, “Now the worst tragedy is going on in Palestine and Gaza; people are fully surrounded and heavily bombarded by the Zionist regime in a small land.”

He highlighted Gaza people’s prompt need to food, medicine and water at a time
when the Zionist regime does not allow any humanitarian assistance entering the region.

Wade for his part said his country as rotating head of the OIC will hold talks with all other members on Palestine and Gaza.
